Simon Bacon is a leading tranpersonal intuitive and osteopath and who believes in a holistic approach to health care, acknowledging the mind, body and spirit. He has been an osteopath and healer for 20 years and is registered with the General Council and Register of Osteopaths and the Healing Trust. He has lectured in undergraduate Spinal and Peripheral Mechanics and Ostoepathic Diagnosis at the British College of Osteopathic Medicine in London (BCOM) and he was also a clinical supervisor within the college clinic. He has a Masters Degree in Transpersonal Psychology and Consciousness Studies. He has taught and lectured in intuitive and psychic ability, ESP and Psi as well as teaching meditation and spiritual development at the prestigious College of Psychic Studies in London and he as demonstrated various aspects of psychic awareness and ability throughout the Uk and abroad. He combines conventional osteopathic practice with healing, acupuncture and intuitive practice and his experience and understanding provides an integral approach to health care particularly with complex chronic conditions, such as chronic pain, low back pain, anxiety and depression. His work also involves helping therapists understand the role, function and processes of spiritual practice and its importance in providing holistic health care. He is director and lead Colchester based osteopath, running a number of busy private and NHS practices in and around the Colchester area: www.colchesterosteopaths.com. Over the last 5 years he has been researching psychic phenomena, with a particular interest in the phenomenology and deconstruction of psychic experience, including mediumship. He one of the only mediums to ever challenge the traditional paradigm, and believes this is essential for those who wish to develop a healthy spirituality and avoid destructive narcissism that is seen in modern day “celebrity mediums.” He feels that most psychics and mediums do not understand the real difficulties in ruling out psychic explanations for so called communication from the “afterlife.” More recently he has researched the role of spirituality in health care with reference to osteopathy, as part of a Masters Degree in Transpersonal Psychology and Consciousness Studies at the University of Northampton.
